What influenced your decision to partner with Guestcentric?

Prior to partnering with Guestcentric, we noticed our hotel websites were becoming increasingly outdated. This was both in terms of the guest experience on the front-end and also operationally for those of us managing the content, offers, and prices behind the scenes.

We started to look at different options, gathering many proposals from a variety of tech providers. Guestcentric’s proposal stood out to us with the offer to recreate all our hotel websites from scratch together with us. In the demo, we also learned that the Guestcentric CRS would enable us to seamlessly update content, launch new promotions, or publish last-minute offers based on seasons and demand. And of course, we were also drawn to the possibility of having a fully centralized and integrated solution that everyone on our team could easily use to manage both our websites and reservations.

Our direct channel is the top performer, and our website sell more room nights with a better ADR compared to Booking and other OTAs. Since partnering with Guestcentric, we’ve nearly doubled our direct reservations. Of course, we are also investing a lot more in digital marketing tools, but without the websites Guestcentric developed, our strategy wouldn’t work.

Our websites are amazing and our clients love to use them, especially those from the US market. Between 60 - 75% of US travelers who visit our website book direct. For this specific market, our websites are exactly what they are looking for.

Considering your destination, what have been some of your strategies to grow your direct business?

We have a preferential rate for guests who book via our website. We also invest in other digital marketing channels such as Google, Youtube, Social Media etc. We have a very ambitious project to drive more traffic to our websites, and subsequently continue to grow our direct business.

In your opinion, how has Guestcentric's integrated website and booking engine solution improved your hotel's digital sales, marketing, and overall direct business growth?

The Guestcentric platform is very user friendly for our reservations team. Personally I manage the promotions, rates, and content. These processes take me very little time to do, compared with the other solutions we saw. Overall, Guestcentric offers a simplified solution, and if we don’t understand something, the Guestcentric support team is always on hand to help.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rank Guestcentric's level of customer support?

Definitely between 9 and 10! I know Fausto in person, as well as Manuel, Marta, and Vera who are all brilliant. The team is always happy to assist whenever we have questions or need to solve an issue.
