In your view, what are some of the benefits or gains you have received from using Guestcentric's Booking Engine solution thus far?
The booking engine saves us a lot of money because we now pay less commission to third-party travel online travel agencies. It’s also easy for us to make changes and control them with pictures and the way our communications are worded. If we have issues, we can adjust them very quickly without having to go through anybody.
We target some of our groups through our online booking engine, which is good and helps us get a lot of group business because people don’t like calling the hotel to make reservations anymore. This means we definitely capture more group business by using the online booking engine to display group promotions and group rates.
How has Guestcentric's booking engine improved the sales and marketing for guests?
The ability to target groups with group rates and promotions has significantly helped us capture that business. It also helps that we can redirect visitors to our website even when they are not booking straight away, as this helps them look at the pictures, get room descriptions, and generally have a better idea of what the hotel is all about and what they can expect when they arrive.

Definitely a 10 out of 10! Customer support is the best part of Guestcentric. Thomas and Filipe from Guestcentric’s San Diego office are both very helpful and very prompt to respond. Without them, I don’t think we would have been as successful with the booking engine as we are now.
In your opinion, what are some of the booking engine's strongest qualities?
The ability to make changes very quickly, and to add and change promotions when needed. There is a lot of flexibility in what we can do and what we can offer to our guests, and that definitely helps us capture a broader range of travelers.

The ability to create short-term promotions to capture the business for very specific events or specific dates where maybe we need to have a little more pick up is extremely valuable. To have that level of control is very helpful to fill our rooms and keep business going.
