Frontend Developer
We are looking for an amazing and talented Frontend Developer that should be comfortable to work directly with designers, to build a bridge between the design team needs and the development team, allowing us to have the best websites in hospitality but also the best CMS in the industry.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in the required area;
2-3 years working experience in a similar role;
Understand UI/UX standards and user patterns;
Proficient understanding of web markup HTML, CSS and Javascript;
Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS;
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them;
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git;
Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that websites will adhere to them;
Web researcher for modern emerging web technologies and techniques;
Have a keen eye for aesthetics;
Diagnostic and problem-solving skills;
Highly detail-oriented and always committed to quality and innovation;
Self-organized, self-motivated and a positive collaborative attitude;
Sense of humor.
Responsibilities
Support design team solving Javascript issues on templates and websites;
Maintain existing Javascript libraries used on website development;
Develop new components and libraries used on website development;
Analyze and improve website quality through standards implementation and best practices evangelization on the design team;
Work with engineering team improving website rendering software;
Improve and develop new modules for the Guestcentric CMS;
Research and implement new tools that improve website performance;
Be a team player for both the design and engineering team.
