GuestCentric wins 2010 Standard of Excellence WebAward for Hotel Website Design
Premier award recognition program validates that smaller independent hotels can modernize their online business and deliver top-notch results
GuestCentric Systems the social cloud provider of e-commerce solutions for the independent hotel industry announced that the Web Marketing Association (WMA) – the premier award recognition program for Web developers and marketers worldwide – awarded Casa de Madrid’s website with the Hotel and Lodging Standard of Excellence award in the 2010 WebAwards competition.
Each WebAward entry was judged against a standard of excellence and then against other entries in the category. Entries were judged on the following seven criteria: design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, navigation and ease of use. This award reinforces GuestCentric’s compromise to deliver their customers with solutions that enable them to create an outstanding online presence in a fast and easy way.
“Together with GuestCentric, we’ve been working hard over the past 6 months to build a world-class website for Casa de Madrid. Being a small luxury guesthouse competing with big budget traditional hotels, it is vital for Casa de Madrid to have a cutting edge e-commerce system to leverage our online marketing strategies.” Said Ashley Usiskin, Business Development Consultant at Casa de Madrid “Partnering with GuestCentric has meant we have been able to thrive in the current tough economic climate and we look forward to continuing to benefit from their expertise and services. We’re delighted to be involved in this award and congratulate GuestCentric on this great achievement.”
GuestCentric provides e-commerce solutions that provide a fast and easy way for independent properties to develop their online business and engaging guests on social media outlets.
“To have one of our websites recognized with an award by the Web Marketing Association is an important milestone for GuestCentric as it reinforces our vision that smaller independent properties are capable to compete at the same level as branded properties.” Said Pedro Colaco President and CEO of GuestCentric Systems “This award represents GuestCentric’s team hard work to provide the most innovative e-commerce platform of the hotel industry.”
The competition was judged by a team of independent Internet professionals representing a variety of relevant disciplines of Web site development. The best are recognized with a WebAward which helps interactive professionals promote themselves, their companies, and their best work to the outside world.
