Stamford, CT – June 5, 2007 – GuestCentric Systems, an early-stage startup that develops web services for travelers and the travel industry, today announced it has completed a $1.25 million round of seed financing led by ASK Venture Partners and participated by Change Partners.
As part of the financing ASK’s Nuno F. Thomaz joins the company’s board of directors, and Joao R. Costa, CEO of hosting provider eChiron was elected for the vacant independent seat on the board.

GuestCentric was founded to address the structural change that the travel industry is going through in terms of customer acquisition, online distribution, and marketing and promotion, also known as Travel 2.0. The company will use the capital to accelerate its product development and strategic alliance efforts.
