This recession is affecting the business travel due to the reduction on trade volumes and business opportunities, a lot of companies were forced to find ways to reduce on travel expenses. As a result there is a big reduction on business travel.
In general people are still going to travel but they will do it in a way were they can reduce their overnight stay, they will be more selective on their destination and they will rely more on the internet to compare prices and destinations.
How do you think the current recession will affect the travel business? Maybe people still want to travel – just cheaper?
