The security and privacy of your data and your guest is a core part of GuestCentric business, and is our top priority. While perfect security is a moving target, we work with a group of in-house security engineers to make sure we use the latest technologies available.

Physical security

The GuestCentric application is deployed in state of the art servers located in datacenters where access is limited to authorize personal with access controlled by biometric scanning. Security cameras and 24×7 onsite staff provides additional protection against unauthorized entry.

Data protection

GuestCentric customer data is stored in multiple servers and disks and is backed up to multiple locations daily.

Redundancy

GuestCentric maintains full redundancy of all the software and data, so in the unlikely event of a failure of any of the main servers, the back up servers will immediately be available.

Secure internet communications

GuestCentric uses VeriSign SSL certificates to provide a secure internet communications. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology for mutual authentication, data encryption and data integrity. SSL is the industry standard security protocol to encode sensitive information, such as your credit card number. SSL creates a shared digital key, which only lets the sender and the receiver of the transmission scramble or unscramble information.

Periodic Security Vulnerability Scans

GuestCentric conducts daily security vulnerability scanning of key network resources, to identify potential security holes. Security vulnerability scanning is conducted by McAfee SECURE. McAfee SECURE web sites are certified after passing a set of daily security scans that helps address your security concerns like hackers stealing your confidential information. The sites are also tested for “phishing” and other online scams, as well as affiliations with dangerous sites, excessive pop-ups, and browser exploits. The “live” McAfee SECURE Trustmark appears only when a website has passed all of these tests.
