My involvement in the largest e-commerce vertical – online travel – started back in the mid ’90s. Ever since, I’ve tried to stay on the leading edge of what is happening on the web.
In addition to buhlerworks, I work as Senior Destination and Social Web Marketing Analyst for PhoCusWright, the travel industry research authority on how travelers, suppliers and intermediaries connect, delivering high quality research on the evolving dynamics that influence travel, tourism and hospitality distribution and producer of high-profile executive conferences.
My previous experience, going back a few decades, has been in destination marketing, tour operations, retail travel and the airline industry.
I have been responsible for a major tourism destination portal project and have worked in the management team of the first web based tour operator to offer customer designed dynamic packages. |
